I currently have an old iPad and use a Lifeproof Waterproof Cover, which has worked very well.

I am looking to buy a new iPad (8th Generation), and looking at the Lifeproof Website, they no longer make these .

Can anyone give any recommendations for waterproof cases?

Many thanks

Just thought I would ask if you received this for Christmas and what are your initial thoughts?
I did! Very pleased with it. I haven’t done a dunk test but I only intend to use it in the cockpit behind the bulkhead where it may get stray splashes. I like the fact that it isn’t very bulky and I have actually kept it in the case all the time even indoors.

Thank you for the review, very helpful. Can you access the charging port whilst in the case? These seem to be a good price compared to the Lifeproof ones (who no longer make them, unless you buy direct from Apple for the iPad Air model only)

Yes you can. I field tested mine today on a long dog walk, using it with OS My Maps and it performed excellently. I could shove it in my bag full of smelly dog things and not worry. I have fitted a holder on the bulkhead and I plan to keep the power cord attached because Garmin Active Captain app could be quite a drain. I intend to use it to replicate the plotter screen in the cockpit, and I can control the plotter remotely from there too.
PS the Management thinks the look is a little functional and would rather I use the leather case (she gave me) when indoors.
