My GRP hull was spray painted with 2 pack polyuethane 21 years ago and the paintwork has lasted very well. There is some yellow staining just above the boot topping whick I would like to remove. I tried using a blue coloured gell (Y80 ?) some years ago but that actually stained the paintwork blue so won't be using that again. Anyone out there with experiece of a better alternative cleaner on 2 pack polyuethane? (by the way - the hull is painted white)

Starbright produce a superb cleaner specifically for waterline stains. Can't remember the full name but just spray it on, leave a few minutes then wash off. It is also ideal for removing small barnacles and nasties from props.

Thanks for the Harpic suggestion. Used the Harpic Limescale & Stain Remover today - Brilliant. Applied it, left it for 20 minutes, washed it off, job done. Far better than Y10 gell and it didn't leave blue stain on my 2 pack polyuethane (see original post).
