So we have a water tank gauge the usual half full etc, but I would like to monitor the flow from the pump which is 15 mm , any ideas.

Do you actually need a gauge after the first flow measurement? The pump model specifications will give you the designed flow rate (accounting for head of water) - if you then hold a graduated container under a few places (shower, sink tap etc) it will give you actual flow rate with a watch and some simple arithmetic - it's not going to change that much thereafter, Could be done in 15 mins.

you can buy on amazon a water digital flowmeter that gives rate and total flow meant for a tap but its 3/4 bsp which you can adapt to15mm with fittings , this one even has bluetooth connection for phone.
