Water at Dale

Hi can anyone confirm if freshwater is available on Dale pontoon?

Not that I've seen - its towed out on a seasonal basis I think - and is essentially a bare moored pontoon ? Pretty handy though - and free !

There is water on the inside pontoon. The water is for drinking only and not for washing the boat. By inside pontoon I mean the one linked to the land.

The one that dries! Fine for a bilge keel but not otherwise.

It's fine for all boats to pop in for water and a couple of pints at the Griffin or the yacht club.
Note: I understand, there should be food at DYC from mid July.

More info on DYC please? We were there last weekend and talk in the village was that there were no new stewards in place. It would be excellent if they were up and running for the school holidays. It's a great club.

All I know is that Steve will be opening the bar from 1st July and doing food in about 10 days time. I don't know how that fits with the school holidays, You're right, a great club.

Thanks everyone. Have to time stay at pontoon right! I have a note from Dale Yacht Club saying they have a new Steward in place.
The new steward "Steve is extending an open invitation to you all for a free buffet with a cash bar from 7:00pm on 1st July. We will look forward to seeing you there if you can make it."
