If you can find one, a secondhand KAD32 and drive would be alot cheaper and still provide 30 knots in your boat.

No Volvo D6 a very new engine apparently. Prone to blowing up if a smige to much oil in.

Volvo D6 being broken for spares
Just a word of caution.
Volvo D6 is a great motor. It does have one major drawback, or more correctly did when it first came out, it is pretty much a throw away engine. If piston picks up and damages the bore for for any reason there was no service repair proceedure. We costed price of re-blocking with new pistons and it came close to cost of a new engine.
This was the case three years ago, they may have oversize now, either way certainly no snip for DIY repair.
