I know of one poor / misguided bloke who was earning a nice packet as a Stone Mason all of 22 YO and having never been further than Blackpool signed up with the Terratorials for some excitment .. guess where he is right now.... Kabul! ... believe me it is apparently not exactly a bed of roses.. but I s'pose he got his "adventure"

If you recollect the terms of the ultimatum in 1939 had been agreed and voted on by Parliament.
