Wareham to Weymouth 29/10/22

I've just remembered, the water in the marina is brackish. On the ebb tide, fresh water comes down from the river Wey. With the heavy rain we've had recently, you'll see brown water come through. So, you'll need aluminium anodes (but as you've come from Wareham you probably already have them)…

Actually I haven't. The boat has been on the hard all year and I just renewed the anodes with zinc

Ah. Others may offer a different view, but when I moved to Weymouth, zinc anodes didn't last a year. So, I would advise a change when you have a spring lift out - assuming you will. If not, the sailing academy will lift and hold for a reasonable price with plenty of time to change the anodes. If you have trouble sourcing aluminium (particularly the prop anode) there's a company in Germany will have them: Aluminium-indium-anodes - Opferanode24.de (boatanode24.com).
