Does anyone know where I would be able to get spares (rope oil and spinner) and a manual for a Walker Knotmaster mark IIIA ?

Many thanks

Look on eBay - usually one or two on there.

Lilley & Gillie in North Shields are the only supplier of new spares and all they have left are starboard mounting shoes. Tel 0191 257 2217 if you want to check. For oil, 3 in 1 is an approved substitute. L & G told me a while back that there was a secondhand chandlery called YOTGROT somewhere that used to be a good source of bits but don't know if they are still open. Boat jumbles usually have a few, eBay tend to have only complete or incomplete kits in their boxes.

complete logs are always to be seen at jumbles, you'll probably find what you need by rooting round there.

I was sailing with a chum back in the early nineties (1990s that is!) accross the Thames Estuary, when another vessel, racing, came very close to our stern and carried away the rotator, line and sinker. He dug up the receipt of the replacement equipment for me (you) last night and the address of Messrs. Walker & Son was 37~41, Bissell St., Birmingham B5 7HR. Tel: 021 622 4475, though this latter will have undoubtedly changed.

Trust this insn't a red herring.
