VP2003 Tacho

I have a VP2003 with Standard (Alternative A) engine control panel.

Has anyone paralleled a 2nd tacho (in the cockpit of a motor-sailer) along with the original in the panel inside the cabin.

Looking at the circuit diagram, there is only a W supply from the alternator (along with + and - for the light). The G in the diagram appears to not be connected.

The instrument is simply a pulse counter, so should work, and that's all they do for flybridge dual helm boats.

Thanks. I didn't think of mobo's with flybridge.

Here is the instruction manual for my TAMD 60c. The wiring diagrams show how the fly helm attaches effectively in parallel.
