Speak to Derek Smart at Crinan Boatyard. He did mine last year and was very thorough. I can't give you a price as the job also involved replacing the engine and the cost was all inclusive.
On an insurance note, it is wiser to have a dealer do the job beacause:
a) you don't get your hands dirty and
b) if its a DIY job, the insurers will insist on your work being surveyed = £££s

Yes, doubt any insurer would want a survey on maintenance work. If the work was as a result of a claim it would be different and they would want some confirmation that the job was done properly - but even then not a survey on a simple job like this.
