Not necessary on the later models, eg. Tamd41Pa, which have crankcase vent into the air intake as standard.

From memory there were a couple of aftermarket conversions on the market to do this job.
Not that difficult for keen DIYer to modify a old crankcase filter ie. fit with a length of pipe and put the fumes somehow into the area of the air filter.
My only concern would be the sheer amount of suction would suck oil out of the crankcase which perhaps might ignite.
The boat might really whizz, but only very briefly.

Do not be concerned, virtually every road vehicle IC engine these days have their crankcase fumes** sucked into the air intake, downstream of the air filter, as in the later VP 41s. (not "somewhere into the area of the air filter", needs to be sucked in downstream of the filter otherwise your filter will just clog a lot earlier)

Note ** : the fumes are usually sucked from the rocker/valve cover, not the actual crankcase

Thats the issue on some of these and certainly the 61’s. The oil mist is sucked into the suction side of the filters and can make them fairly messy and oily. To replace the filters each year on the 61’s, is the same price as buying the K&N once. They obviously don’t need replaced again ever. Vital that the right size and type is selected though.
