Muggins here is doing "maintenance stuff" to TM,s vp dpe leg...... "big deal who cares" i hear you all cry...... anyway.... after 15 yrs, and already done propshaft seals, so in for a penny, me thinks, do the gearshift seal also... nmbr 51 here. http://www.marinepartseurope.com/en/volvo-penta-explodedview-7744470-44-7642.aspx ...so removed all the housing and linkage (all blatantly obvious when you look) only to come across nmbr 52 (same link)...how on earth does that pin come out ??..plenty head scratchy.. could i risk txt,ing Volvopaul for a spot of advise..i dont think he would be pleased if he,s busy going sideways in a forest in a 30yr old car !!.....so i did anyway !!!......5mins later received a detailed reply on how to sort "nmbr 52".. SO THANK YOU Mr Volvopaul MUCH THANKS.............. ps. if anybody,s interested, the pin GOES INWARDS !!!!!!

Hey it's a 40 year old car Well it's reg plate is anyway. It will be flying around the North Yorkshire forest this Saturday on the Trackrod rally , any real northerners come and say hello to car no 34.

Very well , we're second in class and 5th overall in the silver star (2wd) championship, one more rally to go where I hope to take the lead. It's down to the wire as they say , well it's down to me how fast I can pedal it! This time we go to North Wales , rally starts from Llandudno and the last stage is a lap of the Great Orme, which is Tarmac on forest tyres so will be very sideways I'm sure.

Just caught up with this , it might get your attention , I know it's not boaty .

Season finished by clinching a class win on the Cambrian rally at Llandudno which pushed me to win the BTRDA Historic cup, class H3 driver , 5th overall in the BTRDA Silver star championship by just 1 solitary point and winning class E5 in the MSA English championship so a great first year with the car.
Got it all to do again in2016 !!.
