Here’s one for Volvo experts . Went to boat today and port engine won’t start . Turn on ignition and no temp , oil or battery lights come on . Press lock on edc and green light comes on . Try to start engine and starter sol clicks then green light immediately goes off and nothing happens . After a few seconds oil warning light comes on and alarm sounds . Sb engine on same battery and starts as normal . Both engines started fine last weekend . Anyone had this or for suggestions as I’m at end of tether

First thing I would check is the battery cable at the starter and the battery earth cable connections, and the main switch for that engine. If these are clean and tight then work through the power supply from the engine to the helm.

Start fuse inside black box blown , think it’s a 15 amp

Thanks Paul , will have a look at that tomorrow . It’s almost impossible to get to on port engine and I did look inside sb engine one today to see if fuses in there . Didn’t see a fuse but saw relays ?there are two resettable fuses is that it ?? Will look tomorrow

You still rallying ? I’ve been off-road racing but just bought a mk1 shell and starting to prepare it

Check reset fuses but normally you get nothing if they have popped.
It’s a spade type fuse .

Hi
Might not be this simple...but have you tried starting the other engine and let it run for a while (if your starter batteries are common...if not link them with jump cables) then try starting that engine ?
Our tamd61s have the starboard engine do the exact same at the start of each season and sometimes if left for a while. The starboard engine is always lazier to start with anything other than a full battery or regular use.
