Volvo SX A drive vibration.

Hi all,

I have a Volvo SX A outdrive that has a noticeable vibration at exactly 1700 rpm, any more or less revs and the vibration disappears.
Turning the steering makes no difference to the vibration, so I don't think it's the global bearing.

Anyone encounters this problem on their boat.

Props damaged and out of balance ?

Prop would be first on the list.

I have an SX drive in the workshop now that had the same problem, it had snagged a rope and the props were seriously off centre on the hub.

I will check the prop when I'm at the boat.
Seems that everyone agrees that there is a problem with the propeller.
