Volvo rev counter replacement

Getting the boat ready for summer and the rev counter has died, So took apart to find wet and corroded circuit board.
Have replaced with one from Wema 0-4000rpm with hour meter £80 very simple to fit and calibrate suits Volvo 31 and 41 diesels amongst many others. Bezel is different profile but does not look out of place and fits straight into existing cutout in dash panel.
Why don't Volvo sell them at this price!

Problem is Paul that the VP rev counters are about £250 a side. I've not heard of Wema but at £80 it would seem a good value replacement for anyone that isn't too fussy about an exact match. Seems they do lots of other gauges too http://www.wema.co.uk/.
