Hello, I assume you are referring to where the coolant pipes plug into the seawater pump. You should not need any sealant. If everything is clean and undamaged and the orings are new, just some grease to aid assembly should seal them.

Possibly the problem is that often when the pipes are removed only one end is loosened therefore the other end is bent when the joint is broken thus making the pipe likely not to align.
Seals should be fitted dry or maybe a little lubricant and pipes straight.

all the above is good sound advice and sensible .
A few backsliders with ancient old engines which have been rebuilt more times than sensible smear a tiny bit of silicone sealer on the "O" ring. :)

If they have leaked in the past the sealing faces can be corroded. Then hard to deal. Sanding as smooth as possible helps.

Before removing the water pumps for bearing and seals replacment everything was dry and visible sealer was seen when dismanteled..,will try to use a fine sandpaper and smooth the faces..yes and I have put new original orings but still the same

Perhaps try tightening up the O ring ends first may help see if the other end is out of place and try working the pipes back into shape

The pipes which sr leaking are between the thermostat housing and the exhoust manifold..none of them have any movement in them,,you cant tighten sonething..will try to do some sealer and try again..but this time will start the engines so that the small leak will stop:/
