Hi All,

I am having a boat with twin D4-260s and would really want to get the ability to read the diagnostics of the engines myself - potentially even activate missing software features if possible (trip computer / trim assistance).

The hardware seems to be VOCOM II which can be ordered via multiple sources including Alibaba. The VODIA software however is likely licenced and I am not certain if the online versions which are available for free / paid in some forums would really work or not. Does anybody have any solution / success interfacing the engines not being a dealer ?

Thanks

A friend in cala dor has an ( expensive ) non Volvo system.

You can read diagnostics and clicking on the sensor etc brings up the wiring diagram / colours etc.

It could reset codes and so on. Basically ( as far as I know ) most of what vodia can do but it could not update software etc - but given my engines are 2004 there are likely no updates anyway.
