Chum has a pair of 175HP petrols on outdrives in a sports boat.
One engine appears to be raw water cooled and is functioning OK.
The starboard engine appears to have either a heat exchanger or calorifier or both.
Starboard engine overheats on tickover/ low speed but temps drop when boat is doing more than 2000rpm.
Not personally actually looked at the set up on boat.
Is it usual for one engine to be raw water and the other to be freshwater cooled or is my chum confusing stuff.
Definately has a way of heating hot water..
