could someone out there suggest a volvo parts agent that
is good on service & price ?
i need a full service kit for both my engines & was wondering if anyone has found an agent that does not hike the usual volvo mark up on parts ?
or shall i just get the chequebook out ?

Thanks Wiggo,
I Used To Buy From A Vp Agent In Northern Ireland But They Have Been Taken Over By New Owners & The Service Just Is Not There Anymore .
I Might Get Some Fuel &Oil Filters From A Local Truck Place But They Don't Have Those Big Air Filters That My tamd60c Have

I have just serviced a pair of tamd122 engines the air filters are the same fleetguard part no af4581 you can also fit a housing that takes an element by crosland its not cheap to start with but the elements are about 25 quid after so it works out pretty good for years to come, I get all filters for volvo non genuine no problem here so when servicing 2 engines it saves quite a bit compared to volvos prices, shame your not a bit closer.

That's An Idea To Change Over The Fittings So That I Could
Use Cheaper Filters Although There's Nothing Like Walking Into Your Engine Room To See Those Shiny Volvo Air Filters /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

And Volvo think there's nothing quite like counting all of your shiny money - probably having bought the filters from the same place volvopauls' come from!!
