Volvo Penta MS4B Gearbox Oil

Currently in Borneo where there is not a lot of info in relation to Volvo Penta.
Running an MD31A engine with Volvo Penta MS4B gearbox. What grade and type of oil is best suited to the gearbox.

Also developed a slight "growl" from the prop when first put into forward or reverse. Goes away as engine RPM is increased. Seems to me a thrust race is on the way out. Any suggestions.

If a g/box overhaul is required does anyone have a manual for the MS4B.

Blighters only give a Volvo part number for the oil for an MS4B !

SAE 90 or 80W-90 API GL-5 gear oil spec'd for the MS4A though.
