I have a Volvo Penta 2030D and have always used genuine Volvo Parts
Looking to change the oil again this year and noticed that Parts4Engines sell Perkins Oil Filters for £6 each (plus postage)
In view that the Volvo engine started life as a Perkins does anyone use these instead. A considerable cost saving, but little compared to the overall cost of running a boat.
I can't think the genuine Volvo ones are any different due to the marine environment or different usage
Whats this forums thoughts, thanks
