Volvo MD7a injector pump. Bosch or CAV ?

Volvo used both CAV and Bosch pumps on these (MD7a) engines. Mine, a CAV, has packed up. I have a Bosch one available to me, can I stick this on ? OR does anyone know of a Volvo Penta technical Dept that can answer this ?
