Volvo MD 2010 oil change

Chaninging the oil on my previous boat that had a Beta was a doddle as the pump was on the front etc. Any one with the above who can advise me on the best way to change the oil ? There is a drain hole buried away which I have been told needs a 10mm tube to be fitted over then pumped out..or can i pump out throuhg the dipstick hole?? The boat is canoe sterned so there isn't much room down there. Thanks.

Best to pump out through dipstick hole, I use a Pella extractor which works fine.

On my 2020 there is a pump-out pipe that is located at the front of the engine close to the sump flange. Thjere is a rubber cap over the end which you remove and then attach the pipe to your pump; or you can use the dip stick hole. I have used both methods and I imagine your 2010 is similar.

The lower tube with the cap is the pump out tube as it goes to the bottom of the sump whereas the dipstick tube doesn't.
