Engine is a 2001 KAMD43P, single inboard.
Got stuck with it 3 weeks ago. She ran great for about 6 hours, went to restart and nothing. No power to the key or any of the gauges. Messed around for about 45 minutes looking for a loose wire or bad connection.....none found. Got towed back to the dock and walked away for the day. Went back the next day with a plan. First thing was to check for power at the key.....nothing at all. Next location was to check the breaker and relays inside of the black box. Had power on both sides of the breaker, had power in and out of the first relay.....it's the only relay in the box. With my test light on battery ground, I checked the pins going into the speed control relay.....no power there. I have (1) 3 pin connector inside of the box and started checking each wire. Second wire I hit and I hear a click from the compressor clutch....I look up at the dash and I now have power. Walked over to the dash and she started right up......now I'm perplexed. I shut off and restart her about 20 times.....all is good. This past weekend, I take her for a ride on Saturday, ran her for a few hours and had no issues. Took her out on Sunday and it happened again after about 6 hours of running. This time nothing I did brought back power to the console. I jumped the key from the house battery and she started right up......still had NO gauges what so ever and she wouldn't go over about 1000 rpm and at that she was smoking pretty bad. Limped back to the dock and now I'm trying to figure this out. What I did notice was the tack gauge pinned all the way over and the volt meter dropped to nothing just prior to this happening. With the engine running the alternator is putting out 13-14 volts, so the alternator isn't the issue.......any ideas???

Supercharger clutch windings are failing causing trip fuse to break , try a run with clutch disconnected .
