My silver yanmar engine is about to become chrysler orange funnily enough. Spraying it in metal prep at the moment, just on here in between sprays. The yanmar paint is ridiculous prices plus just rebuilt engine so thought I'd change it. Should show up black oil leaks nicely lol

If you had an isolated rusty parch on an engine what would you do to prep for a localised in-situ re-spray. I assume you'd wire brush the flaking paint and rust off (perhaps with a dremel). Neutralise the rust then prime and re-spray. Is the right approach?
