I was just about to order new J series props, but then read that they are for engines up to 230hp - I have had B5 on with no apparent issues apart from allowing the engines to overrev. For over 230hp they advise C series. I messaged Volspec to ask the question and get a quote but they did not answer the question but did send the quote.
Can anyone enlighten me as to what damage may be done, or is it just that the lifespan of the props may be shortened? I do not intend to (nor could afford to!)drive around at 50 odd knots so do not anticipate often using my potential 640hp.
