Volvo AD31 - stern drive - raising

Hi

hope this is the right place for this.

mom struggling to get the pump to start on my stern drive lift so I can see the prop. Nothing wrong with pump as ran a lead direct - relays are brand new - I was told by the previous owner you have to push the 2 trim tab buttons up or down together to raise or lower the drive -so question is has anyone else had this issue (the switches work in the throttle level also) is there a fuse I’m missing? Or is there another way to activate the pump.

the trim tab buttons are for the trim tabs, to raise the stern drive there is a separate switch unit. 2 grey switches with arrows on them and a red button above that. Hold the Up button and the red button to raise the drive to the stern position

If you have a throttle lever like this ,then it will be the button on the end
