Virtual Regatta

Just wondering if anyone else plays with it?
I was doing a regatta run by our YC but I seem to have managed to bollox the job as I cannot now get in for ages by which time the races have started and I'm way over the startline with no way of returning so I keep getting a DSQ.
Actually - this is a very close reflection of how things were when we raced our GP!
Anyone any ideas?

I'm convinced that it's getting ready for Jan 1st... I've seen that behaviour a few times and coupled with a complete refusal to steer I found that changing from a laptop to a capable desktop helped a little perhaps, as did going from wireless to wired keyboard but was probably all placebo. Since I'm on full fat fibre concluded that it's just random behaviour on the part of VS's servers. Thing is that we (also as a club) ran Zoom alongside (and I did this on a separate computer in case it was interfering) and nobody else seemed to suffer, and just regarded my streaks of brilliance interspersed by hitting marks and boats as typical. I gave up in frustration.
