not a good day to be paddle boarding either.

Would it be fair to wonder what make of boat this was? None of the others seemed to fair as badly

No idea what it is, but the shape suggests a mobo, so possibly of lighter construction than a sailing boat? Storms are weird things. This side of the road, every tree is down, the other side no damage so maybe it just got bounced harder.
