Stardrops all round cleaner seems neutral but effective.

Cheap as chips around £1 and good for many surfaces including the boat exterior and the car. It may not remove all stains but you can always move on to something stronger. I always have this on the boat.

I wanted to get that before but don't think there's any stockists near me in Ireland. Might buy some on Amazon.

Vanish Stain Remover Bar. It's basically a block of soap. Works wonders on vinyl. Just lather it up with some water and scrub with a nail brush. (You can also use it to wash in salt water!!)

It will need treating with some Armour All or the like afterwards.

Failing that, if you can't get it clean, paint it.

It's good stuff, not real paint. It sprays on and chemically bonds to the vinyl surface... I guess it 'melts' the surface chemically.
I've seen it used on car interiors to good effect.

I use pro marine ribshine and magic eraser sponges. Been using both for many many years and the seats still look as new.

Another option not mentioned so far is Renovo vinyl cleaner.

I've been using their proofer on my vinyl canopy for the last 12 months and it's very good, so I bought the cleaner too.

Use a cleaner rather than using abrasives like magic sponges - they may work but they abrade the surface so you can only do it a few times without wearing through.
