Fallen for one of these, drool factor 10. I know about their interesting downwind tactics, reversing and all the work attached to varnish and teak etc. any other points to look out for before I open the wallet and let the moths out.

You are probably aware of this...but look carefully at the coachroof esp where the two parts join, fwd.

Thanks, have had camera with me and looking at all the pics of bits I couldn't get my body into. One advantage of varnish is that it rings alarm bells early. No evidence of leaks at joins, has had extensive work done in cockpit area when re engined. Teak deck wearing thin but still a few more years as laid on glass not ply.
