Most of the harbours seem to have a wifi hotspot. Loutra on Kithnos has dimos-kithnos. It has a very strong signal, doesn't require a password, says you're connected, but internet pages don't open and have a message ' safari cannot open the page because your iPhone is not connected to the internet'. Any ideas?
We're using iPad and iPhone. No problem using wifi in tavernas or cafes with that facility.
Cheers

The reason it won't open is because you have no down or upload speed you prob find you need to log on to that wifi , this happen a lot , so,e time a page will open up for you to log on , other times it won't , it isn't that expences

Coming across the Agean sea from turkey last year, I managed to get free wifi on all 14 islands except 2.
I made a big concave shape like a big wok and held it behind the laptop to catch the signal better,,,,
Wow,,,,great results,,,20 to 30 percent better signal.

But have now bought a booster anteni ......

Prefered the homy,,,,much more fun
