err yess. I'd rather be sailing than working :)

With a bit of luck, today we might finish a full six days' work on the hay fields with short daylight and very heavy dews. It has not been unremitting fun, especially as my sailing buddy has been (deservedly) chilling out on board :(

Thats bloody hard work at the best of times, never mind in these temps...thinking of ya ;)

Lovely view! Currently at anchor in Swanage bay, it's bloody warm and a superb view, so nice we gonna stay another night! Head home tomorrow and back to work tuesday. Where ever you are, if you are boating I hope you are enjoying it as much as we are.

Wish we didn't have to head back today. Packing the boat up today before she's picked up but still enjoying just being in the marina :)

Just back from supporting #2 son in his first rugby match of the season.. rock hard ground, 30 degrees and he played all 3 matches, 20 mins each way... won all their games and he's shattered... no boaty stuff today but rewarding ourselves with a bbq... all that said, I would have loved to be on the boat this weekend:( looks fab out there

OK, so it's mid-Staffs rather than coastal, but we woke to a lovely orange glow this morning at around 7. Looked out the window & the dawn was fabulous. Wall to wall spectacular colour. Impossible to catch on camera, but this one isn't too bad (off my phone, from the spare room).
