6 x Ruuvi sensors ordered from Finland. Cost delivered in to the UK (inc any import costs) is £25.44 each.

The good bit is the easy access to multiplus power settings from the front screen, will be trying in the next few weeks and keep you updated

Sensors have arrived. Bloomin’ warm in the saloon! Only joking, that’s beside the wood burner.

Will be in the post tomorrow to those that have ordered.

That is a bit hardcore.....but looks well worth the effort......I'll do mine after you've done yours!
Just done the guithub update, very easy to do took 2 mins and needed no program knowledge and adds really useful stuff to front screen, also allows to switch functions from front screen as well

you‘ve done that via VRM? Do you know if it has Victron approval? Just in case there are any warranty issues?

The file needs to be on a formatted usb and plugged into the cerbo at boot up so cannot be done remotely. The cerbo Venus OS is provided by Victron as open source to allow external development. Victron are encouraging developers to use their hardware by doing this.
I did do all the multiplus configuration remotely via VRM so did not have to buy any additional modules after just plugging in the Ethernet cable between both on the boat

Excellent, I’ll have a go at that when I’m back at the boat.

I just followed the YouTube video, bit long winded but he shows the exact steps you need to follow and then how to upload and enable, I watched it first to understand then slowly again to do, IM your email and I will forward the file download, note that you just copy this onto a clean formatted usb, don’t unzip it and just put into USB port and reboot cerbro, also note that you have to use port 1 or 2 not 3 as this is power supply only

Bringing this old thread back to life as I’m thinking of doing a 2nd round of purchases. See the first post of the thread for description/links. Does anyone else want a sensor?

A question. How long does Victron keep the data for On VRM?

i understand Ruuvi inly keeps 10 days.

Also can you set alarms on high or low temp?

I can view over the last year of data on VRM and it has a custom option that allows you to choose longer and you can set alarms as you need, high, low temp, pressure or humidity, seperatly for each
