My elderly Seafarer Seavoice 550 RT VHF is on strike.

Its never given any trouble until today when it was stuck on channel 69. (Not one I use a lot).I switched it off and back on again and now the digital display reads 00 and nothing works.

Anyone know if it is worth getting repaired or give it a decent burial and get the credit card out??

I've still got one of those aswell, check the buttons, especially 1/25 watt are not stuck in, this gives this fault!

Mine is still giving sterling service! But it also suffers with the sticky byutton syndrome, so does my brothers, OK as long as you know.
