I have not used my boat for the last 2 years and have therefore allowed the VHF licence to lapse. I understand the licencing authority has now changed and that the old RA is no longer with us. I haven't seen Mike Martin on the forum recenly either. However, I am hoping to get afloat again this year so will want to relicence the radio so can somebody tell me what I have to do to do this.

I looked at the web site for "Off-what-ever-it-is" but that was no help!

Btw to save loads of persons telling me I do realise that I am not guaranteed to get the old call sign back.

Thanks in anticipation.

I just followed the license link on the Ofcom site, through to Maritime Radio licensing and you end up here http://www.radiolicenceforms.co.uk/

Just fill in forms electronically, or download paper forms and send off. I guess the fact that you had an old license irrelevant, so just start again from new.

Thanks Brendan and Nigel. I have now found the correct site myself. Apologies for bothering you.

Also apologies to those who are particular about spelling for using the noun licence where it should have been the verb license.
