VHF Interference

I have seen the RF interference discussion and am trying, without success, to pull out my problem. When the refridgerator compressor is running, I get interference on the VHF. When it is not, the radio is 'clean'. Is this a situation that I have to live with or is it fixable. I saw an article on this in PBO and concluded that I have to live with it, I just wonder about other's experiences.

I think you need to fit a Ferite surpressor to the Fridge cable.
