I think I would say each word after I had spelled it.
The 'official' way is to say the 'word' followed by the proword "I Spell" then spell the word.
I think I would say each word after I had spelled it.
I think the answer to this may be that it is a letter O ( Oscar) not a numeral 0 (zero) simply beacuse they dont use zeros in call signs.
Will wait now to be proved wrong
You are referring to my post.Fife isn't phonetics for F. Should be Foxtrot.
As you can see, I didn't say Fife was the phonetic for F. Fife is the correct way to say the number five, it sounds less like nine, which should be said as niner.[ZIOI5]... it would be worth spelling this out in phonetics on the radio: Zulu, India, Oscar, India, Fife.
.... Fife is the correct way to say the number five, ..
or PAN-TAH-FIVE![]()
Actually its "fiver" with 9 its "Niner"
Actually its "fiver" with 9 its "Niner"
Absolutely not. Five is "Fife".
Actually its "fiver" with 9 its "Niner"
It must be down to inflation, a Tener is less than a Fiver these days!Absolutely not.
