Black when in use and red when not. Needs the correct fittings of course

That's roughly where the antennas are on my boat, handy to fold down when going under low bridges etc.

Boat is 24ft
Antena I have spare is standard whip.

Loose in cabin is the old black plastic coated antena but no base or mount left ... just the short whip.... you can see it mounted to stbd of windscreen in first photo.

That mount position has been filled and painted by previous owner ... not so sure I want to have it protruding into cabin ...

Pal of mine back in UK had a snazzy idea ... he had his ensign staff at stern with VHF whip fitted to the top making it a one piece ..

The antenna. I guessed a Primor 24 was…..24 ft

That dictates where to put it so it’s out the way when folded down
