Vetus shaft seal

Hi, got a Vetus water lubricated shaft seal. It says use approved grease for Annual maintenance, anyone know what is suitable? Cheers, matt.

Grease For Vetus ZWB Bearing 15g (Vetus DLS002)

It's just lubricating the lip seals; any silicone grease would do, probably any grease at all depending on what material the lip seals are but sticking to what the maker sells for it is not a burden in this case.

Use the genuine article. Although costs more than a generic grease you need little and a tube lasts for years.
