Rockall should see some spectacular breaking waves.

some of the surf sites are reporting massive waves on exposed westerly facing beaches up here such as machrihanish and tiree

does anyone know of any web cams that would show the waves? the one for oban is not quite the same

Zero Celsius now, still v strong westerly with heavy hail/snow showers. Excitig waves/coamers on the headlands on east side of The Minch but nothing spectacular. I assume the west side of Lewis etc will be notable!

The man-with-the-spanner is servicing the boiler now SIGNIFICANT crud inside..............

wow, they have some amazing photos and video - they looked good but i then saw pictures further down of what the beach normally looks like - made the videos even more impressive/scary
