What ever the wind was on Sunday, spent an hour on the mostly mud "beach":ROFLMAO: at Upnor watching just about everything that floats with a sail whizzing around , mostly Toppers or smaller and a few cruisers.
A warm SE breeze and brilliant Blue sky complete the scene. Wandered between Wilsonions and MYC.
Noticable that the more senior members of clubs were firmly ashore on the slips but the youngsters were mixing it out there.
Grandson with quite a few hours under his belt on MoBos announced he would very much like to have a go .

On our first visit to Poland we spent a day ashore, along with all the other cruisers, while it blew F6. The open meeting for Optimists with about 100 boats continued a couple of miles offshore as normal.

Which is another way of saying "Get your wallet out grandad"
That is what grandads are for-- if you did not already know.
Age of offspring is totally irrelevant.
If you have any method of taking it with you, do let me know, apparently last suit you wear has no pockets ?
