Why not get a centre cockpit boat? The large aft cabin will almost certainly have a hatch in the deckhead plus some opening ports in the sides. It will also be much less claustrophobic. With a wind scoop on the fore hatch and another on the aft hatch, both cabins become more comfortable - as long as there is some breeze, of course.

How about a few 12V fans?

Now your talking - I have just sold one of those! I am a great fan of centre cockpits over 40 ft as it means that you have a decent sized cabin and not an oversized coffin. 12 volts fans are also a great boon - and should be a must be on equipment list.

Just like all those italian boats do - leaving their generators running all night

I'll need the G & T to get to sleep from all the background noise!

Well if you want to charter a centre cockpit boat in Turkey, try Top Yacht. They have Moodys from 38' up to 54', together with a few other makes like Maxi as well
