Venetian blinds

I have them on my boat and previously on a fairline. They are not noisy as long as they have a guide wire or a retainer /clip for the bottom rail. In both cases they were factory fitted so can't comment on price, but domestic made blinds made by a local company are not massively expensive. On both the fairline and sealine they are the so called marine version but as far as I can tell they are identical to domestic units and suffer corrosion problems in the mechanism and rust in the top and bottom rails. Also they are a pig to clean and the blades start to corrode if you get sea water anywhere near them.

When I finally loose patience with them I would consider Roman Blinds similar to that used on Azimut and Ferrettis.
