looks to me like they are sailing the same route. Just gybing downwind at the moment because of the wind angles and the exclusion zone.
I agree. Keep on sailing you guys in the peleton.Well done to both Alex and Armel, and indeed the rest of the fleet
I for one are humbled by their skill, stamina, strength and determination.
Well done the French navy for that fantastic footage ,
do we have a frigate down there to film the next section ??
When and more significantly , how ,will Alex change his rudder ?
andwhat will it cost him in time and distance ?

Am I right in thinking he wasn't' clipped on during his helicopter-filmed walkabout?

OMG!!! And why wasn't he wearing a Hugo Boss suit?
Anyone know how far they have sailed so far I can't see this information only distance to go.
Thanks to the French Navy for some excellent footage ......
I see J-P Dick went into the ice exclusion zone and he to retrace his steps and exit at the point of entry - cost him quite a lot of time
A bizarre mistake - asleep at the wheel or being a bit of a dick?

Hi All
Just a quick question for those of you in the VG know ...
Ive just returned from crewing on a friends boat from Cape Verde to Barbados
Around daybreak on Thur 10th we saw what we took to be a VG boat sail across our bow (CPA 2 miles) at 30 knots.
Skippers words were "Holy Cr@p" !! - we only one other boat all the way across.
AIS showed him running at 30 knots but showed the boat name as "Sobido 4" or something similar.
I dont see that name on the list of entries - anyone know who it might be ?
Thx
