Any idea why Alex hasn't changed the broken foil or was that just a wind-up?

And after this area of light wind The Welsh, as they like to call him, is likely to be on a starboard tack to the finish line. I think he has it in the bag.
That might be a little premature, but we can certainly hope!
On another note, a general thanks to all those who've posted links to updates etc the coverage has turned out to be rather better than I'd hoped based on the first day or two.
What ? 20 extra people on a yachting forum??
I made that sarcastic comment not to take the P out of you ( so apologies) but to describe the apparent interest shown in the British media about a fantastic sporting event taking place on the world stage.
Still,,, all been said before i suppose
If you were sarcastic, you'd have noticed that the interest of most of the forumers is linked to the chance of AT bagging it, not to the race itself.

"The pessimist complains about the wind; the optimist expects it to change; the realist adjusts the sails."
A tad presumptive that based on forum posts you know what people think and enjoy. Do you give share tips too?
Win or lose Alex deserves a bloody massive flotilla through the Solent. Maybe RN could send a few ships out.
Excuse my ignorance but doesn't this little jaunt finish on the west coast of France...... I appreciate Alex will need to get home at some point but is he likely to be sailing back in HB?
