Can anyone please tell me if it’s possible to put heading and COG vectors on Navionics on my iPhone or am I asking too much?
Using Routes you can add waypoints and COG. The bearings between waypoints will be indicated. These routes can be shared with others. Play around with this feature. Can anyone please tell me if it’s possible to put heading and COG vectors on Navionics on my iPhone or am I asking too much?
Aren't vectors used to work out a Course To Steer (CTS) on paper charts, taking into account Tidal Set and Drift, and Leeway?
AFAIK, you would have to work all this out in the traditional manner and then set up a relevant waypoint uptide of your objective. This is what I have been doing with the Navionics on my fairly ancient Raymarine plotter, (but to tell the truth , I really just use it as a back-up to paper navigation, so as to exercise any remaining brain cells?)

Thanks for the budget lesson in chart work. You'd never guess I was an Ocean Yachtmaster but as long as you've had a lovely time tugging yourself off then that's fine.
