We’ve got an electronic VDO oil pressure gauge on our boat which is fitted to a Volvo Penta MD2030

The gage is 0-150 psi but the manual from Volvo says that the Oil pressure should be between 30 and 70 psi

I want to change the gauge and transducer to a 0-5 bar gauge for a more accurate reading.

We’ve bought the gauge already but now need to change the transducer/transponder that is fitted to the engine

Does anyone have any idea where I can get the transponder from and what the part number may be?

The one fitted at present has two wires going to it and is screwed directly into the engine.

Which forum was it in, not seen anything on PBO.

So now you are going to tell us you have fitted one of these M10 senders every day since the old King died. Then pray tell us all how you managed to get a M10 x1.5mm to screw into a M10 x1.0mm NPTF. We await in anticipation.

Be sure what you are asking for, two sorts of senders. Some have a gauge and negative connection but is also a range that provide a negative connection through the housing and not only feed the gauge but provide a low pressure warning connection to an oil light.

I didn't say anything of the sort, i actually said i believed they were 1/8

Contributing something useful involves something more than being a thoroughly unpleasant, arrogant know it all.

A normal person would have simply pointed out that the M10 version was M10 fine, rather than the typically standard M10 x 1.5

You'd rather make a saga out of it though, typically trying to make yourself look smarter than you are. Instead, you further demonstrate what a thoroughly unpleasant, arrogant individual you are.

So which sort does the OP require?

A pressure sender with an insulated negative return or a combined pressure sender and low pressure warning switch with the negative return via the casing ?
