VDO oil pressure gauge transducer

A normal person would have simply pointed out that the M10 version was M10 fine, rather than the typically standard M10 x 1.5

You'd rather make a saga out of it though, typically trying to make yourself look smarter than you are. Instead, you further demonstrate what a thoroughly unpleasant, arrogant individual you are.

And that comes from a person that has in previous posts has intimated that I masturbate and are the weakest link amongst other insults.

Be sure what you are asking for, two sorts of senders. Some have a gauge and negative connection but is also a range that provide a negative connection through the housing and not only feed the gauge but provide a low pressure warning connection to an oil light.

So which sort does the OP require?

A pressure sender with an insulated negative return or a combined pressure sender and low pressure warning switch with the negative return via the casing ?

And that comes from a person that has in previous posts has intimated that I masturbate and are the weakest link amongst other insults.

My question is yet unanswered !

This and just use the G terminal (leave WK unless you have a warning lamp deluxe panel) https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Oil-pres...323280427661?_trksid=p2385738.m4383.l4275.c10

I am sure that's not right

The OP says his existing sender has two wires going to it . Surely this means that his engine has an isolated negative return. ( as shown in the diagram below) The one in your link is a combined pressure gauge sender and low pressure alarm sensor with the negative connection via the case and engine block

You have that backwards Matt. All panels have the warning light, the "deluxe" panel (variant C) has the pressure gauge. So, although not indicated in the diagram Vic posted, all varaints will have the pressure switch (or relay as VP call it) but only those fitted with panel variant "C" will have the pressure sensor.

As for the wiring diagram, item 13 is not a connection to the block, it's a "junction", if i remember correctly, it's a splice in the loom (don't hold me to that). You'll note that it goes to the negative relay, via a fuse in the negative fuse block.

YES, VicS I will answer your question.

My trading policy is.

1 If a customer defines an item by part number, or positively identifies it from a published document, we will obtain that item. However, a no return unless faulty policy is invoked.

2 If a customer asks our advice as to which part, we will point him to, say, here are the pressure transducers at 5bar. Which one do YOU want? Return to 1.

You will appreciate the reasoning behind this. The OP is modifying the system which could cause problems down the line in parts supply. Has the engine previously been tampered with?

We always give the customer that is not sure the opportunity to get a fitter involved to do the job. This has sometimes been construed as a rip off to make money. Those customers are welcome to go elsewhere with our compliments. I do not want the grief nor the excess carriage charges returning wrongly sourced parts.

Finally if you analyse the last 7 or so posts it illustrates the point precisely. Even the "experts" are in conflict!

Your trading policy is in contravention of current trading legislation.

I can read wiring diagrams perfectly well and I know exactly which sender the OP needs.

You still have not answered Vics question though, only danced around it. Is it because you cannot analyse the information given, coupled with some real World knowledge, and actually tell what the OP needs ?

I'm prepared to quote an actual part number, are you ?

Furthermore, if the OP wants to order one using my part number and it's wrong, i'll send him the return post. Will you ?

I do, and the wrong engine in its entirety....! my carer was not with me last night and I was allowed on the forum and to the pub in Southwold on my own to see some friends.

This is what I was hoping to look at https://www.marinepartseurope.com/en/e-volvo-penta-628-MD2030D.aspx

Still, it looks like a handbag fight is imminent so I'll be playing with my rib outside if you need me.
