Varne 27 query

My PBO 398 is missing! Can anyone out there summarise David Harding's comments on the Varne 27? Any other info on this yacht, good or bad, would be very much appreciated.

I have the missing copy-- seemed to be all good except I remember something about the tiller snagging on the mainsheet and the finish on some home completed models being less than great. You could always get a reprint from the copyshop.

I have the report somewhere as well.
There may have been another report.

Damn good seaboat by all accounts, can make to windward very well.
Narrow stern so not so good downwind and probably a bit short of internal volume.
Would have bought one originally if the "crew" had not insisted on more room.
